Pixologic interviewed the ME2 character team. I’m not featured much in the interview, since Mudbox was my primary sculpting tool for Mass Effect 2.
It’s worth a read if you’re interested in game art or ME, as it’s a fairly comprehensive & indepth interview.
Not going to offer any comments on this since it’s a leak, but thought I’d share the link it since some of my work is shown and I’m mentioned.
Kotaku – An Early Look at the Warhammer 40k MMO

Bioware has released a new dev diary video which officially reveals a character I made (model, textures, shaders) called Thane. If you want to skip right to Thane, he shows up at about the 1 minute, 20 second mark.
Vigil released a story trailer for Darksiders, it’s got some cool shots of the Bat Queen model I did for the game, textured by Pio Ravago. The game looks awesome, I’m dying to play it. I’ll stick some still shots in my portfolio later in the week.
Raven’s been releasing videos showcasing some of the characters from the new Wolfenstein game. I did the high-poly sculpt and the lowpoly for this character about a year a half-ago when I was freelancing, it’s called ‘the Altered’. Not sure who textured, I’ll try to find out. Most of other trailers that have been released have my models in them, but it’s been a few years since I worked on the game, and my memory isn’t so good, so have I hard time remembering what exactly I worked on.
Few quick notes: So, I’ve just about finished updating the site, I’ll mostly just be polishing from here.
Mass Effect 2 was the cover-story of July’s Official Xbox Magazine. The 10-page article has a lot of art from the game which has not been released online. There’s a few shots in the article of one of the characters I made: Thane. He’s a sort of fish/amphibious looking assassin. I’d scan and post some pics, but I’m not sure of the legalities. You can catch a glimpse of him in the trailer below.
Also wanted to post up the ME2 trailer we showed at E3 this year. This extended cut trailer is pretty badass, shame they didn’t show the behind-closed-doors demo publicly, it looked great.
As some of you may already know I’m currently working at Bioware on Mass Effects 2.The game is looking and playing great, I think you’re all going to be excited with what we show at E3 this year. Bioware/EA has released a teaser to our E3 09 showing, it’s embedded below, check it out:
