I get a lot of email from Students and Hobbyist asking questions concerning my workflow and educational history, the FAQ below should answer many of these questions. I’ll try to update the FAQ as frequently as possible.

What software do you use?
I use the following applications for work: XSI for basemeshing and poly-modeling weapons, props, accessories, and hard-surfaces; Mudbox for sculpting; Headus UVlayout for UV unwrapping; 3Ds Max for rendering maps; Adobe Photoshop and Mudbox for texturing; Unreal Ed. 3 or UDK for material setup (realtime characters).
What kind of computer do you have?
I have an Intel Quad Core 2.8 Ghz processor, 8GB of Ram, and a Geforce 8800GTX w/768MB RAM. I sculpt using a Wacom Cintiq 21ux.
My secondary computer is a 2010 17″ Unibody Macbook Pro (i5 2.53Ghz, 4GB DDR3, and a GeForce GT 330M w/512MB GDDR3.
What school did you go to?
I went to Vancouver Film School, and took their 1-year 3d-animation program. I also studied film production at the University of British-Columbia.
